Alaska Wing Covers

Aircraft Cowling Covers

Our arctic insulated cowling covers are made of durable, weather resistant polyester with a 1.5 oz Dacron polyfill insulation.

We highly recommend preheating at 40 degrees fahrenheit and below, as cold-starts can shorten the life of your engine. Our cowling covers is designed to make preheating more convenient and efficient. Be sure to let us know if your aircraft has extended exhaust or ski cables that need to be accommodated for.

We can also install a preheat exhaust vent at the air in-take required for the Northern Companion preheaters.

Many of our pilots have used their cowling covers as survival aid by sleeping in them for extra warmth on an "unscheduled landing".
